101 Metal Repair Paste is a solvent-free epoxy metal repair compound with metallic fillers designed to fill surface erosion & corrosion on metallic surfaces.
Two-component solvent-free epoxy metal repair compound designed to fill surface erosion & corrosion on metallic surfaces. The material can be applied to mechanically or abrasive blast-cleaned surfaces moreover once cured the Metal Repair Paste will retain high mechanical adhesion to metallic substrates. The thixotropic nature of the product means it can be applied at thicknesses up to 25mm without sagging and can be machined to fine tolerances.

Application Method Metal Repair Paste.
- Surface Preparation: Mechanically abrade or grit-blast the surface to remove rust, scale and contaminants. Degrease thoroughly using a suitable cleaner.
- Mixing: Combine base and activator components at a 3:1 volume ratio until a uniform, streak-free consistency is achieved.
- Application: Apply the mixed paste using a spatula or applicator tool. For large areas, use multiple layers if required, allowing each layer to firm before the next is applied.
- Curing: Allow material to cure at ambient temperature. Once cured, it can be machined or sanded to achieve the required dimensions.
Typical curing time: 2–3 hours at 20°C for handling, with full mechanical properties achieved within 12–24 hours depending on thickness and ambient conditions.
