Once cured, it forms a dense, erosion-resistant barrier that stands up to impact without slumping. Apply in single layers up to 15mm thick for fast, reliable resurfacing—even on worn or damaged equipment.

204 Heavy Duty Ceramic Repair Paste is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy compound enhanced with 0.2mm–1.2mm ceramic beads. Engineered for fine sliding abrasion, it’s ideal for resurfacing and protecting metallic substrates in high-wear environments such as pipe bends, chutes, hoppers, and valves.

Application Overview.

1. Surface Prep: Abrasive blast-clean to ISO 8501-4 SA2.5 (75µm profile).
2. Degrease: Use MEK or equivalent pre- and post-blast.
3. Application: Coat before oxidation (gingering) occurs.
4. Contaminated Surfaces: Use high-pressure water rinse and salt tests as per guidelines.
