204 UHD Paste is a two-component, solvent-free, high-build epoxy paste formulated with 0.2mm–1.5mm ceramic beads and an advanced energy-absorbing resin system. Engineered to withstand extreme sliding abrasion, heavy impact, and aggressive slurry conditions, it is the go-to solution for resurfacing and protecting metallic substrates in demanding industrial settings.

Designed for medium to large aggregate flow and wet slurry exposure, this paste applies in thick layers, up to 10mm without slumping. Once cured, 204 forms a dense, wear-resistant surface that bonds strongly to abrasive blast-cleaned metal surfaces, ensuring long-term performance against abrasion, erosion, and mechanical damage.

  • Abrasion Resistance: Taber H10 Wheels / 1kg load – 29mm³ loss / 1000 cycles
  • Adhesion:
    • Tensile shear to ASTM D1002 on abrasive blasted mild steel (75µ profile): 236kg/cm² (3330psi)
    • Pull-off adhesion to ASTM D4541: 258kg/cm² (3645psi)
  • Compressive Strength: ASTM D695 – 790kg/cm² (11150psi)
  • Corrosion Resistance: ASTM B117 – Minimum 1000 hours
  • Flexural Strength: ASTM D790 – 415kg/cm² (5860psi)
  • Impact Resistance: ASTM D256 – 66J/m
  • Heat Resistance:
    • Immersion in water/hydrocarbon up to 60°C (140°F) – Pass
    • Dry heat up to 120°C (248°F) – Pass

Mixing & Application Instructions 204 UHD.

Surface Preparation:

  1. Remove all oil and grease with a suitable cleaner such as MEK.
  2. Abrasive blast to ISO 8501/4 Standard SA2.5 (SSPC SP10 / NACE 2) with a minimum 75µ profile using angular abrasive.
  3. Degrease again and coat before any oxidation occurs.
  4. For salt-contaminated surfaces, pressure wash and verify salt levels before application.

Product Preparation:

  • Base component temperature: 15–25°C (60–77°F)
  • Ambient/surface temperature: Above 10°C (50°F)

Mixing:

  1. Take 2 equal measures of base and 1 measure of activator.
  2. Mix thoroughly with provided spatula, ensuring no unmixed material remains.
  3. Create a diamond pattern to confirm uniform mixing.
Application of 204 UHD Paste.
  • Apply with the supplied applicator tool to the prepared surface in layers up to 10mm.
