204 XHT Paste is a high-performance, two-component epoxy novolac repair compound, engineered with ceramic beads for superior resistance to abrasion in harsh environments. 204 XHT is solvent-free, ensuring safer handling and minimal environmental impact, however yet tough enough for the most demanding industrial conditions.

Built to endure immersed temperatures up to 130°C (266°F) and dry exposure up to 240°C (464°F), this compound forms a powerful bond on blast-cleaned metal, protecting against sliding abrasion and medium to large particle wear.

204 XHT Paste is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy novolac repair compound with ceramic beads, formulated to protect metallic surfaces against fine particle abrasion, sliding wear and wet slurry erosion at elevated temperatures.

Engineered for demanding environments, extreme sliding wear paste withstands immersion up to 130°C (266°F) and dry heat up to 240°C (464°F). Once cured, it forms a hard, seamless barrier with exceptional mechanical adhesion to abrasive blast-cleaned substrates.

  • Flexural strength: 475 kg/cm² (ASTM D790).
  • Impact resistance: 22 J/m (ASTM D256).
  • Hardness: Shore D 89 (ASTM D2240).
  • Corrosion resistance: 1000+ hours (ASTM B117).
  • Abrasion resistance: 42mm³ loss / 1000 cycles (Taber test).
Application & Coverage.
  • Wet film thickness: 3–6mm.
  • 5kg kit coverage:
    ▪ 0.747 m² @ 3mm
    ▪ 0.373 m² @ 6mm
  • Usable life: 30 minutes @ 20°C (68°F).
  • Full cure: 3 days (or faster with post-curing).
Surface Preparation & Mixing for 204 XHT.
  • Abrasive blast to ISO 8501-4 SA2.5 (75μm profile).
  • Clean with MEK.
  • Mix 2:1 ratio (by weight or volume).
  • Use immediately after mixing.

  • 1kg, 3kg, and 5kg kits.
  • Colour: Mixed material Mid grey.
  • Shelf life: 5 years (unopened, stored at 15–30°C).
