Application Details – Resimac Solutions.

The worn propeller shaft area was machined with undercut edges to ensure strong adhesion and proper surface preparation. Resimac 101 Metal Repair Paste was applied in multiple wet-on-wet layers to minimise air encapsulation, create a solid repair, and restore the shaft’s structural integrity. After curing, the excess material was machined away to achieve the correct surface profile and precise alignment. Finally, a brush application of 202 Ceramic Repair Fluid provided a smooth, hard wearing finish, ensuring durability and long term protection against operational stresses and environmental wear.
